[The Natalie]

I was in labor for about a week. I went to the hospital almost every day before they broke my water and induced me. I went to the hospital on the 17th by myself with our son and called dh on the way there. He met me up there and I was escorted to a nice labor and delivery room at Darnell.

They thought my water had already broke, but after much laboring and a failed epidural, they discovered it had not been broken. They broke it and I had Abbie within 1 hour of them breaking my water. I had a hard time pushing because I felt almost nothing and kept thinking I was going to pass out although I did not. It was the scariest labor for me out of the three I have.

She weighed 7 lbs exaclty and was about 21 inches long. I love her to bits and am sorry I have been away from the boards for so long.




Thanks for letting me add her birth story over a month after she was born. She will be 6 weeks this week! Can't believe how fast time flies.
