Do you ever have pain with it? The pain that I had that took me to the hospital to rule out the ectopic slowly went away, but now it's starting to coming back. I just wonder if it has to do with the SCH.

I did have pain the day it sent me to the hospital and we went to rule out ectopic also. After that is was sort of a heaviness but nothing major. Since then I have not had any additional pain, but the ob I saw told me that It was possible for it to come back as well as the bleeding. Your pain is coming back? Maybe just take it easy today and see how you feel since its Sunday and call on Monday if its bothering you too much. Have you been doing lots of extra walking? Mine would get aggravated by walking my kids to the bus stop in the morning. When I found out about my SCH i sort of put myself on couch rest during the day, and got up only for my youngest, food and bathroom. I am still wondering if mine is going to act up again.

I don't have sch now, but have had it with my past two pregnancies. I can't remember it causing pain. I just remember lots of spotting, almost daily, during the first trimester. I hope your pain goes and stays away!

I had SCH with my last baby, I don't remember any pain I could say was from that, just spotting as well.

I'm a lurker from the April DDC

I had SCH with this pregnancy and I got some bad cramps with it that the doctors said was normal. I wouldn't worry about it though. I'm already 20 wks along and it has gone away. Most of them go away by then.

Here's to hoping you feel better

It was particularly bad yesterday on my way home from work. I guess maybe it probably is worse on the days I am more busy then usual. I think it was also bad the day I went to the grocery store and the day I took my lil man shopping. Up until these past few days I haven't had to work and just have had school, so nothing too strenuous.

Thanks!

I had bad pulling/cramping the day I had an US and it showed a SCH just above the GS. That was when they saw the GS and YS. The pain was only on that day and I had to take tylenol. About a week later I had another US and saw the SCH was gone and we had a HB of 120 with 6w1d date. Pain never returned and never had spotting. US tech said SCH is part of implantation and not to worry.

I had the SCH with my first u/s apparently at 5w5d, and she said it was still there and unchanged at 6w6d. I read that the SCH can take several weeks to heel/reabsorb, even as long as up to week 16-20.

I haven't had any spotting since Thanksgiving weekend, just the pain, so I'm happy with that.
