I was wondering about her, as well. I hope she is doing good and decides to stop by sometime!

Aw, you guys are so sweet!! I'm really touched.

I think I just maxed out on JM. I spent so much time on it - think I needed a mental rest! That and I've been feeling pretty sick and been really tired, so not much time for putzing around on JM. I think, though -- knock on wood -- that the worst may be behind me as far as m/s goes. The last 4-5 days have been a major improvement on the week or two prior. Of course now that has me worrying I'm headed for an m/c, but what else is new?

Midwife appointment went really well! I was 9w3d and because I have a retroverted uterus, I thought we would probably not hear the baby's hb on doppler, and at first we didn't. Then the midwife (actually she was a midwife trainee but very nice and capable) felt around inside and out to measure my uterus and get a better sense of where it is. She went in for a second pass with the doppler and heard something very faint. She said that was it! Then she moved around and really hit it. The whole room was reverberating with bump-bump, BUMP-BUMP!!! Magical!!!! DH and I were so proud - 166 bpm, exactly where it should be.

So now we are down to a 2-3% m/c risk, very reassuring. We told DH's parents on Friday. His dad is now signing emails "-Gramps" - so cute! So it's been a really great week or so. I'm debating when to tell my siblings, and of course I'm concerned about this whole promotion at work and how it will play out with my news.

So that's about it for me. I'll need to read some back posts to find out what is happening with y'all!

Yay for an awesome appointment! Glad you are starting to feel better. My m/s is clearing up too, and so are most of my signs and symptoms. I agree, it does make you worry.

Thanks, Jamie! So long as there's no bleeding, I'm just trying to put it out of my mind and enjoy feeling (somewhat) better. No need to look a gift horse in the mouth at this time...

Glad you had a great appointment! Hearing that heartbeat is magical, isn't it?

And, try not to worry about your sx getting better (I do know that's easier said than done, though, sometimes). We are close to entering into the second trimester, so we are supposed to feel a lot better!

Glad to see you around! Hope to see you around more!
