I am pretty sure that I can already feel my uterus at least an inch and a half above my pubic bone. That seems really odd being I am only 8 weeks. I know with my first, it was quite a while later before I could feel it very close to my pelvic bone. Is this normal for a second pregnancy? Are we really that much bigger?

I was measuring four weeks ahead with DS (#4). My fundal height was at my belly button at 15-16 weeks. (If I remember correctly) Anyway, I was measuring 20 weeks when I was only 15-16 weeks. I think it can be normal (or at least common) for women who have had multiple full term pregnancies.

I agree with pp. I *think* I can feel mine when I lay down on my belly.

I can fell mine when I lay down in the bed....This Dr. never measures with a tape like was done in my 1st and 2nd pregnancy but she feels around. It felt much bigger to her at 8 weeks that she decided to check for a heatbeat with a doppler thinking I would be further along...( Although I knew I was not cause I know when I concieved)
So yes it is normal for it to get bigger faster....

Good because I was freaking out that I had fibroids or something. It's seriously so high up!!!! From what I remember, this is probably more like 14+ weeks felt like last time! And everything I read online kept saying you shouldn't really be able to feel the uterus that high yet.

I can definitely feel mine if I lay on my belly. It feels like there is a water balloon attached to my abdomen. Not sure how high mine is yet, though. But I do think it is much higher than with my first.
