It was good and bad-ish news...

The Good: Both babies look perfect. Measuring ahead at almost 9 weeks. Baby A obviously caught up in size and had a HR of 188 Beats per minute. Baby B surprised us with some wiggles! He/she was wiggling all over- which the dr said is a great sign for being so little! HR for B was 179.

The Bad: My blood clot is still there. It isn't any BIGGER, but not really any smaller either. It's still a pretty large clot. So he says I am not out of the woods yet...

It sorta stole my joy away seeing that stupid clot still there... The risk is that the blood could irritate my uterus, causing me to have contractions, which would result in the loss of the babies. I cannot even think of this possibility...

The risk is small, but it's definitely there, so I am to continue to "take it easy". I don't have to lie flat on my back... I can sit up too! har har... but seriously, I am going to have to have someone with me at all times to help care for Ronan. I am very VERY thankful for my parents right now, who are able to do this.

I just hope it goes away soon

Baby A

Baby B

That's good the twins are hanging in there and growing.
Crossing fingers that clot starts to go away. And good news is the clot didn't get bigger, even if it is still alarming.

Melissa are they planning on doing anything to help dissolve the clot like blood thinners or are they just keeping an eye on it?

Sorry about the clot, i hope it goes away, or won't give any cause for more concern.

No, just watching it. I actually took baby aspirin all up until I started bleeding, as part of my ivf protocal. Once he saw it, he told me to stop taking it. The bleeding could irritate my cervix and cause a m/c. he wants it to stay put and reabsorb.
