So, I fell down a few of my stairs inside my house last night. I completely lost my footing and down I went. I caught most of the fall with my lower back (ouch) and left arm. I immediately went and laid down with a heating pad because I was so worried I did something to me or bean. DH works night so it was just DD and I home last night, going to the ER wasn't really fathomable. I had minimal cramping last night, nothing overly concerning. I called my OB first thing this morning to let her know what happened. She suggested I be seen so of course I went in. It took quite awhile but finally, we heard a heartbeat. The NP said she would feel better if I had an ultrasound to make sure everything looked okay before sending me home. The ultrasound tech came in and everything looked great with bean as far as she could tell. I was measuring right on schedule and his/her heart rate was 162. She checked all around my uterus, ovaries, etc to make sure everything looked normal and it did. Bean was resting with his/her hand on his/her forehead during most of the exam, too funny. I think he/she is dramatic just like his/her older sister! So aside from having a super sore back and arm, bean and I are great. My doctor pulled me out of work today requesting that I stay off my feet as precautionary with minimal activity this weekend. I'm just glad everything is okay with baby, I'll do whatever she says!
