Dear progesterone supplement,
Oh how I love that you are helping keep me pregnant, but I am so tired of you. I am sick of the smell. The build up. The irritation. No sex. Everything. I can't wait until January when we will end our relationship!
An annoyed momma
I'm on crinone (a vaginal gel). The gel has an odor. At first I didn't notice it. Now I do. And it doesn't go away once inserted. Dh notices it. I notice it. No matter how often I shower you can smell the medicine. It stains my undies. Panty liners were giving me a rash. It is irritating. I'm just so done with this med! I've talked to my Ob about the smell and she didn't seem concerned (I worried abou yeast or bladder issues...but it is clearly the med.). I told dh I want all new undies for Christmas.
I feel terrible, my progesterone level typically sucks. I haven't done any blood work, but regardless I'd be taking this med til second trimester. It helps me stay pregnant, I'm thankful this baby is growing. I have such a love hate relationship with the med.
Anyone else struggling in this area? I'm trying to remind myself only two to three more weeks and I am done!

4 Angels gone too soon
Mine is oral ... So it isn't too bad as long as I take it and go to bed. It makes me super dizzy. So sorry yours is so difficult. But yeah it keeps me pregnant too!

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
I use Endometrin, which is also a suppository. It is unscented (thank goodness) but does cause plenty of build up and leaky grossness. I am always wearing a liner. It will be a great day when we can part ways... but for now, I am glad it's there to keep the babies safe
