Just curious as how they date this. I am extremely regular...Like a 28 day cycle all the time. I know when I ovulate as well cause I always get the pain in my ovary when I ovulate. So my LMP was Oct. 4th, I ovulated Oct.18th so technically I would have been able to test 10 days after, the 28th....I caved and tested on the 27th.....The line was sooo faint that most people probably would have thrown it away...and at first I thought it was negative, but I waited 3 mins like they said and I could see it ever so faintly.
My concern is when I go for my NT scane, which as to be done between 11 weeks-13 weeks 6 days....I will be getting it done when I am like 12 weeks, 6 days or 13 weeks even...I am worried cause they usually always change how far you are according to the babys measurements....So if they put that it is measuring more then 13 weeks 6 days, the results will not be accurate...
Should they not just take into account that I really am 13 weeks, but the baby maybe just measuring big. especially it I got a really really faint positive on the 27th I could not be further along if they think that.....

No I have never got an early scan . Here I believe they do an early scan if you or they are unsure of when you your last period was. But being as I am extremely regular and i tell them the exact date when I had my LMP and when I ovulated, and when I got my first positive pregnancy test they do not feel a need for the early scan...
I am just concerned now about the NT scan..I just do not understand then to change the date depending on how big the baby is it situations where people know they are not ahead of time. They could just have a bigger baby for that many weeks along...

They usually won't changed the dates unless there is a very large discrepancy of around 2 weeks of an error.

My doc told me as long as you are +/- 7 days or less they will not change your date...also at my 1st two scans my bean was measuring 2-3 days behind and at the NT scan he/she was measuring 1 day ahead....so early scan are not always as accurate as people believe and your bean can also catch up or slow down to it's actual "correct" size (by going by your lmp) At least that is just what my experience has been...if your worried call the NT place and explain it to them I had my scan done at 11w4d and they were able to get accurate measurements and told me if i was too early they would see me the following week to get the measurements then...

With the NT scan, if they were worried about the size or dating, they'd bring you in a week early and if it was too early, they'd have you come back the following week. The doctors probably feel pretty confident from your dates about your timing. I'd try not to stress. I go this time at 13 weeks exactly.

My doc says +\- 3 days they bump the due date a week. She said that is the national reccomendation by whomever.

First u/s I was "behind", but couldn't really measure how far. Second scan, I was measuring 3 days behind. My last scan one measurement was in target and the other was 3 days behind. They adjusted my edd from July 10 to the 18. My cycles are not regular though so they have to rely on u/s for dating with me.
