Having a 1yr old and a 2yr. old of each gender already, I pretty much don't *need* anything, but I think our bassinet has seen it's last days. Like Ruth I am contemplating getting a co-sleeper. We could get by without it though.

Good question. If the baby is a girl, I am ok. I've got a girl swing and tons of clothes from my dd. We have a crib but dd is upgrading her bedding system.

For a boy, I will have a lot of clothes from my sister's son but I have nothing else. Swing etc.

I guess I really am ok though, just a few odds and ends.

Oh I forgot I want a bouncer this time too. We have an infant to toddler rocker but DD still uses it and I don't think she will give it up any time soon. I'm also debating on a new high chair, we have one of those converts into a booster that hooks to a regular chair, but I'm not to fond of it. and DD won't use it anymore.

I do need a good bouncer and maybe an arms reach sleeper.
If it's a boy, we'll need clothes, otherwise we should be good to go.

Our big stuff is gender neutral too! So mainly a new infant car seat (ours was in an accident), newborn cloth diapers, a double stroller. I also need a new breast pump (which my insurance pays for), and a new wrap of some sort.

If it's a girl, I have loads of clothes, but who am I kidding...I'm going to need more . Also, Livi was born in April so the seasons will be a bit off. She was also pretty small. If it's a boy, he will need an entire new wardrobe!!

We did that too, it was smarter that way since we knew we weren't done. I'm glad we did it too bc it will save us from having to get more stuff.

I have just about everything I need for both girl or a boy!

I will need a new infant carseat though because our old one has expired. Other than that maybe new bedding set for the baby but that wouldn't be a necessity. I also need to see if I can find our old bottles. I packed them up about 2 years ago and I don't know where I put them. But for the most part, we are good to go

Crib
Stroller
Car seat (infant carrier)
Either an Ergo baby carrier or a Beco baby carrier (haven't decided which I want yet)
Swing
Bouncer seat
If its a boy just a few odds and ends for clothes if its a girl Everything clothing wise.

We did that with most of his stuff. His swing is blue, but it's not "in your face blue" so we'll use it with a girl if we have one. His bathtub is pink. MIL got it on sale and it was the last one.
