My friend who is due in Sept as well got her blood testing done at 5 weeks and her progesterone was first 9 and then 7 something. She's on supplementation now. Just wanted to see if anyone here has had experience with being able to keep a pregnancy with these kinds of levels.

Hi, am on progesterone supplementation now to thicken the lining wall of uterus. Last pregnancy without progesterone ended in still birth at 17 wk gestation.
This is just my experience but I do not know others successes with low progesterone levels and keeping the pregnancy. This would be a question I would bring up with a OB doc or whoever your friend is going to.

Thanks. I'm sorry about your loss. I had a 16 week loss last year as well. They never figured out the reason, but they told me it couldn't have been the progesterone since I made it so far in the pregnancy.
