Well ladies, my stay was very short lived.

I just got a call back from my RE's office and they said my hcg was a 3.

I don't understand why I've been getting positives if my hcg is a 3...that's so weird. She also said my progesterone was incredibly low as well so I'm on the downward slide to getting my period any day now.

I'm really really confused now because my body is definitely acting like it's pregnant. I've got a horrible headache (I guess now I can take that Excedrin!) and I've literally had to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes.

They want to repeat the test next week if I haven't had a period by then.

It was nice joining you ladies for a day. LOL. I hope you all have sticky beans in there!

that doesn't sound right an HPT won't even detect a 3 - I would ask for more labs!

Good luck and I'll be thinking of you

I didn't think so either! I don't know what to really think right now.

All I know is, I'm not usually affected by blood draws, but this morning's blood draw HURT. I don't know if she missed my vein or something but man it was painful.

So sorry I will say that from my experience they CAN make mistakes in the lab! I don't know how but with my miscarriage i got my blood drawn and it was around 30 or so and then they told me the next draw was ZERO and i knew that couldn't be true since i was still get positive tests, sure enough i got another done which was 50. Impossible for that to happen. My numbers still weren't going up enough but anyway my point is anyone can make a mistake. I would go back in a couple days. No way i'd be waiting a whole week! Good luck. I hope you get some answers!

(lurking) my hcg was only 5 when I tested positive for 3 days on FRER. and after two days of heavy bleeding and cramping it went up to 18. I ended up miscarrying a week later, but I hope your bean stays. I'm sorry you have to be in this miserable limbo

I am sorry and I agree with the other ladies have them recheck your levels with another blood draw sooner than the 1 week.

Is there any way they can give you supplemenatal progestrone just in case? I'm so very sorry for you and I hope that, against all odds, your little bean sticks. And yes, labs can make mistakes and I hope this is one of them! Praying for you, Shasta!
