Hey ladies, I'm just over 5 weeks. Over the past 2 weeks I have had INSANELY itchy skin!! It started on my ankles, then moved up my legs. Now it's on my thighs, arms, and the back of my neck. I've itched so hard I'm covered in bruises and have broken the skin in a few spots (yuck!!!)
Has anyone else experienced this?
I did some research and it may be because of the drastic change in hormones going on (it's not liver related, that's usually the risk in late pregnancy).
I've tried Aveeno Oatmeal lotion, Hydrocortisone lotion and Hydrocortisone cream. NO RELIEF!!!!! I am going NUTS!!!!!!!

Diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin's Lymphoma on 3/23/12 at 13w1d pregnant.
I had this happen about half way through my second pregnancy although fortunately it was just mainly on my belly and thighs not the whole body. It last for about 6 weeks and I was absolutely miserable. It started for seemingly no reason and then cleared up on its own about a month before the delivery.
Hydrocortizone helped some but oh man it was miserable. It hurt to wear clothes that touched the skin. My doctor didn't have any great suggestions but I'd check with yours to see if they know of something mine didn't. I hope it clears up for you because it drove me crazy itching and it was just for about 6 weeks.
The good thing is it has only been during that once pregnancy and not all of them (keeping fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again)
