I had my ultrasound this morning and we saw the baby and the flickering heartbeat (116 bpm), so the doctor said that was a good sign. Due to my 16 week loss last year, the RE wants to do another scan at the end of next week to make sure the baby is growing and then will send me to the regular OB aftewards.
I mentioned to the doctor that I've been feeling really cold lately, even freezing most of last night and he decided to test my thyroid levels again. They were normal when not pregnant, but who knows. He didn't think it could be my iron especially since I'm taking iron in my prenatal vitamin and iron defficiency doesn't show up till the second trimester usually.
I won't find out the results till Friday, but I really hope that if something's wrong I'll find out in time. Does anyone know if there are any natural remedies for hypothyroidism that I can try just in case in the meantime?
