I went to school for Professional writing because I wanted to write novels and be an editor. I wouldn't change my major or my career because I currently work as an editor of medical books. While I'd Prefer to edit fiction, th company I work for is awesome and I love my job (but hate the location...)
If I changed anything it would be to win the lottery and stay home writing my first novel I'd also want to freelance edit on the side because I do love it!
I majored in Secondary Education and am certified in Business and Family and Consumer Sciences. I am currently seeking a job teaching either subject at the middle or high school level (although I would love to be a stay at home mom!). If I could go back to school I would probably study the exact same thing.

Ladies, it is NEVER too late! I went to school for a LOT of years to do what I thought I wanted. I have a fairly advanced academic degree, but now I walk dogs! lol! I am doing what I love. Never give up on your dreams!

I have been given the opportunity now to do what I've dreamed of since I was 16. I'm currently studying for my certification of equine sports massage therapy. Later this year once I get my business set up and in order, I will undergo certification for canine sports massage. I am so excited! I'm 25 and a good friend bought a farm so I will have a "home practice" as well as travel some and will also be involved in maintaining the farm. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to literally have my dream at my feet right now.
Thank you GraysMama for my gorgeous siggy!
