ordered a doppler prenatal monitor, the kind with the jelly and speakerphone on it. has anyone else used one of these or had any experience with how early you heard the baby, it says as early as 9 weeks you can hear the heartbeat, kicks, hiccups, and fluid traveling thru the placenta. it should be here today or tomorrow. so excited to use it, I hope I hear something, I will keep yall updated and let ya know how it works.
Which doppler did you get? I have the Sonoline B and was able to pick up the heartbeat right at 9 weeks, the day it arrived. I can also hear the swishing of the placenta, and when we found the baby, a couple of times, we'd listen to the HB, then hear a swish when baby jumped, and have to find the HB again to the left or right. It is really cool. It does take some patience to find the HB early on because both baby and the HB are so small, so don't stress if you can't find anything yet!
