Did you go by your LMP or your O date?

I know most OB's go by LMP, but I'm 95% sure of my O date, and I O'd super early the cycle I got pregnant. And part of the reason I know that is not only the symptoms I was having, but also DH was out of town for about 6 weeks, and we went to stay with him for 2 weeks around Christmas. There was no way I would have gotten pregnant while we were apart if I O'd later than I think I did bc we weren't even together.

Also, I'm starting to get a belly already. And just under 7 weeks seems super early to be showing at all. But I just calculated it out by my O date and that would make me 8 weeks on Saturday as opposed to 7 weeks tomorrow. I'm anxious to find out what my new Dr thinks when I go in next Thursday. I dunno... I could be crazy but just curious if anyone has ran into this before...

I would totally go by your 0 date - it is more accurate if you were tracking carefully. But, I have to say - when it's not your first pregnancy your belly shows much sooner than your first. With my first I noticed a tiny bump at 8 weeks. This time, I swear I could already tell at 5.5 or 6 weeks for sure.

well I don't temp and I didn't use OPKs BUT I had two days of EWCM and on the final day I had cramping on my left side. And then I dried right up, and thats when me and DD flew back home and didn't see DH for another 2 weeks. I think its nearly impossible I could have O'd after we came back from our trip judging by my symptoms. The only thing that throws me off is that I tested about 14 dpo (according to when I think I Oed) and I tested negative. But I didn't test for another week after that bc I really didn't think I was pregnant after that. I kinda hope they will do an u/s and see what I'm measuring at bc I'm curious.

I went with O date, since my cycles are anywhere from 35-60 days long.

I wasn't actually temping the cycle I got pg, but still tracking CM, based on that, I was pretty sure when I O'ed, and the baby only measured 2 days off.

Going by LMP and O date only changes my due date by a day. I stick with the later date. It's the same date the doctors office gave me.

Mine are the same this time. With my first two my Dr went by LMP and with DD I had an early u/s done to determine the due date.

I went by both the tine I conceived and the first day of my last period. Both gave me the same date. Ugh, September 11th anyone? However, an u/s early on showed me a day earlier! Yay!!

I went by my O date. I was charting/temping/OPKing so I knew exactly when I O'd. When I told my doctor, she went by LMP until the dating ultrasound. I gloated a bit when the bebe was exactly as I said.

I would go by O date. I went by LMP because I didn't chart that cycle. Good luck at your u/s!!!

Ok I'm feeling much more optimistic about going by my O date! I am prepared for the Dr. to want to go by my LMP, which would be fine, if I hadn't O'd so early. But that will put me a week off! I'll see how it goes next week I guess!
