And I'm happy to say, there is only ONE little bean in there! Phew! I was driving myself nuts with the twin dreams and whatnot.
Anyhow, I measured at 8 weeks, 1 day, four days behind, so that puts my DD at Sept 25. However, I wonder about that, b/c I know when DH and I dtd, and his spermies couldn't live long enough to make the baby just 8 wks and a day. I know it's irrelevant, and the baby will come whenever, just isn't possible since we only DTD 4 days before my O date, and this due date would mean they would have had to stayed alive in there for 9 days.
OB said everything looked perfect. Peanut had a HB of 168, and was in a nice round sac "smack dab" in the middle of my uterus...just where he should be.
This OB also asked if I wanted to do the 1st trimester screening for downs syndrom and trisomy 18. I opted to, more so b/c of the trisomy 18 checks, but also b/c we will get additional u/s at 12 weeks and 16 weeks, in addition to the 20 week gender scan and 30 week 3d growth scan. That's a lot of u/s and they're all covered under our insurance, so YAY! Love seeing the little bean as much as possible.
