Do any of you notice your symptoms decreasing already? I am almost 8 weeks and have notice that my bbs do not hurt so much anymore...they do a little and are still kinda full, but not how they have been. Also, my nausea has not been as bad. Anyone else experiencing this? I panick about everything lately because I miscarried with my last pregnancy. My midwife told me not too worry that it is normal that they fluctuate and what not, but it is so hard not to.
It is normal. Mine fluctuate a lot as well. Just when I think I'm out of the woods and feeling normal, I feel horrible the next two days!
Also, what happens is your body will start to get used to the change in hormones, which is when you will notice your symptoms "disappearing". But what really happens is you lose those symptoms and gain a whole list of new ones! lol
I think they can wax and wane, but I do understand your worry. That is what happened with my most recent miscarriage. I was almost exactly as far along as I am now (8.5w) was feeling pretty good, thinking the preggie pops were doing an alright job, but started bleeding and the baby had stopped growing a week earlier when we checked on the u/s.
So, having had a loss like that myself, I too worry about the tinest things. I had a healthy baby following that my miscarriage and my symptoms would come and go a bit with him too. So I think we moms who have experienced a loss have increased sensitivity to our symptoms and tend to worry! If only worry would do something productive, we'd have the most perfect pregnancies of all, huh?
Your bean is probably just fine. It's hard not to worry, but I think what Danielle said is so true - your body adjusts, then the hormones increase and we have to adjust again and so we are on this ever-changing journey.
Ditto what Danielle said. It's a combination of your body adjusting to the hormones (which the sudden, quick change of hormones in pregnancy is what causes the symptoms), as well as you getting used to the symptoms. Once you've put up with them for a few weeks, you adjust to feeling badly, KWIM? That being said, I also thought I was getting better. I had 2 really great days on Sat and Sun, and then, BAM, Monday roles around and I'm feeling sick again.
