I just gave in and ordered a fetal doppler. I can't wait until it arrives!! Who else has a fetal doppler? Was it a good investment?

I am seriously considering it. $75 is pretty steap, but for my peace of mind I might just have to suck it up and do it.

I'm using my sisters but my sister said it was a great investment. I would've bought one if my sister hadn't lent me hers.

I got one when I was pregnant with DS#2 and I love it. Definitely a good investment. I used it a lot in the third trimester to help me determine the position of the baby (my babies have a hard time staying head down) My DH has been able to listen to the baby (he can't make it to many of my appointments) and my 4 year old likes to listen to the baby's heartbeat.

I want one sooooo bad, but the hubby says it's not worth the money... I STRONGLY disagree, you can't put a price tag on knowing your baby is safe.

I would love one but we don't have the $ to spend on one. Guess I'll just be waiting for appointments

i use mine everyday! really keeps me from worring when i see the heartbeat staying strong. it gives me peace of mind every morning i wake up first thing. and i found out its easy to find after i empty my blatter and same spot every morning just about, but that booger moves alot during the day. I think im gonna donate mine to another mom in these groups that cant afford one after my baby is born. bc i see how much it makes a difference. especially if your like me and a previous MC. also you can use any lotion with them, i use baby lotion and use it thin not thick since its not clear it can give you static feedback if its thick, or aloe vera gel like you put on after sunburn is perfect. the clearer it is less feedback noise, just never put water on it! just wipe it clean with cleaner on a rag.

I agree, you can't put a price on knowing your baby is okay! I am SO excited to get mine, they didn't even tell me how long it's going to take to get here. I was like uh okay, I guess I'll just check the mail every single day.. & is it true that you can only use them once a day?
