DD has been complaining that her cheek was hurting half of the night last night. Finally we gave her some motrin and she fell asleep. In the afternoon she took a very long nap and I noticed flushed cheeks and red lips when she woke up, so I measured her temperature. It's 100.5 under her arm right now. She is complaining of stomach pains. Not sure if it's a stomach bug or what else could it be? But I'm also worried that I don't get whatever this is. I am starting to wear a mask when I'm around her - has anyone tried that and has it helped?

Nope, never tried that! Have no idea if it will work or not. I hope your little girl starts feeling better soon!

Sorry your DD is sick! I've never worn a mask around my boys when they were sick, so I'm not help there. I do hope she feels better quickly, though!

I hope she feels better. Not sure the mask will do any good since germs spread by touching things as well.

Both my boys are sick right now. Whatever Bren has is viral and whatever Ethan has is bacterial but we weren't told exactly what either one has. I haven't bothered at all with a mask when around them just been sure to wash my hands constantly and getting them to wash their hands too.

Hope she feels better soon and you can figure out whats wrong.
