When you have AF (at least for us it won't be for a while) do you prefer pads, tampons, instead cups?

Depends. lol

I have always wanted to try the cups, but never did.

Normally I use Kotex Super Plus since my flow is crazy heavy, and I wear a liner. At night, I have a tamp AND an Always Night (the huge one that looks like a diaper) so I don't leak on the bed if I don't wake up.

I am a tampax pearl girl I could never stand the feeling of wearing a pad. It just wasn't for me and I was lucky enough to not have such a heavy flow that I couldn't use tampons.

Tampons and insteads. Pads are too bulky. I like that I can have mess-free sex while using the insteads.

Tampons with a panty liner for me. My flow is normally not really heavy but I hate when blood gets on the stupid string and then on my underwear, hence the panty liner.

tampons for sure. I hate using pads during recovery after birth I guess it's par for the course!

I can't stand tampons, there is something in them irritate my vajayjay. I tried instead cups but could never get them in right.

I'm not a fan of pads, but that is better than bleeding all over the place. After about 4 days though I start to get some chaffing where the pad rubs. ouch!

I hate them all...

I'm with you Ami, I hate them all! But I use a tampon and a liner. Thankfully though my periods are irregular and light.

I use tampons with liners to avoid any mess. I hated having to use pads after childbirth, at least it was short lived. YAY for us not having to deal with AF right now!

Tampons are my #1 choice, but if I'm having awful cramps I'll use a pad because tampons tend to make them worse

I had PP bleeding for SIX weeks with DD and HATED wearing pads that whole time so I'm hoping and praying it doesn't last that long this time around.

tampons but if it's a heavy day I have to use tampons and a big fat overnight pad. It sucks.

The last few months before I got pregnant I had to use tampons and pads, I had crazy huge clots too (Tmi) like chestnut size. Another lovely thing depo does to your system.

I use either tampons or pads, I don't like either, I can always feel tampons, even the slim ones. I guess that's' why I never tried those cup things, and I'm not sure it wouldn't be gross to take out?

I use Tampons with a liner. Much better for me than just a pad. Although at night, I often just use pads to give myself a "break" down there.

Okay..... I lose a woman card on this one, What the heck is a cup????

I use tampons and a liner, except for postpartum of course. I couldn't use pads, I ride horses everyday and I have a feeling a pad would be like riding a camel! LOL.

Whatever I have on hand. After my MIL left after a visit a couple YEARS ago, she left behind two huge boxes of panty liners...I still have a box left. For the heavy days, I add a tampon, but I usually only need those 1 or 2 days.

Tampons and panty liner for me as well. I think I've heard of the cups somewhere but I've never seen them. How do they work and do you buy them at the store or are they prescribed??
