The test examined the fragments of fetal DNA in my blood plasma and showed NO signs of Down's Syndrome or any other genetic abnormalities whatsoever. (They were testing for Down's syndrome & T18)

When the phone call came I was about to jump in the shower. I was in such shock after all we have been through that I dropped down on the basement floor and stayed that way for the next hour bawling my eyes out. Talk about de stressing after 19 weeks of worry with past history of losses, bleeding for 3 weeks, the failed NT test at 12 weeks, then 6 weeks to wait and see if the baby had downs. I am still in shock and can finally accept that i am pregnant, we can tell people and move forward
mnmstone and morethanamom4 like this.

So happy for you!!!! I know the feeling, when my Maternit21 test results came back negative I think I thanked the genetic counselor about 20 times on the phone. I was finally able to relax and enjoy my pregnancy, and announced to everyone soon thereafter. Here's to a wonderful rest of pregnancy for both of us!

That wait is rough!!!! I was told 7 days and it was over 11 when i called yesterday. They ended up calling the labs in CA to get the results that way. I wonder if different places are calling the test different names? or if there is more then one new one out? Mine came out mid march and is called Verifi. So glad we both got great results!!!
