Does anyone know what the "typical" weight gain is month by month?

I am up 5lbs total since my starter weight, which I think is pretty good, but I have no idea what is normal for the first half of pregnancy, I just know that the "overall" average numbers. My goal is no more than 25lbs this pregnancy. I'm having a hard time remembering how much you gain in per week in the 3rd trimester!

I still haven't gained anything. Normally I freak out that I haven't gained, but normally I start out underweight. This time I was right on for average weight for my height. But I'm hoping by my next appt I'll have gained something.

Well I'm convinced that at least 3lb of the weight gained is in my boobs! LOL Okay not really, but it sure feels like it!

I'm up at least 15 lbs now. I had barely started gaining at this point last time so it must be different with each pregnancy. I am hoping to keep it at 25 lbs but we'll see. I know they have an average of how much to gain each trimester but some people gain a lot earlier and not much later and others vice versa.

I haven't gained anything yet. I'm really hoping it holds out for much longer. I gained WAY too much with my last pregnancy, and never was able to get rid of it. I'm so scared of adding to that.

I've gained too much already- 23 pounds or so but it was almost all in the first trimester. I don't think I've gained in the last 4 weeks.

I was freaking out (aka sobbing regularly) but all of my female relatives have assured me it is just how our genetics handle pregnancy. My DH made me promise to stop worrying, but I still do. Can't wait to diet!

I'd love to know how much of it is boob weight!

I am up 8 pounds... The app on my phone tell me that the "normal" is 7-12 pounds by the point that I am at. Its the "I'm Expecting" app on my iPhone.

I don't know how accurate that is, but it helps keep me in check

I have gained 7lbs which is frustrating since I am really not supposed to gain any from being overweight. But I have heard from others that they have gained more and my doc didn't say anything so I am going to pretend like it never happened...

I've gained around 6 or 7 pounds I think? I'm still under what my prepregnancy weight was with Calvin though. I gained something like 40 with him. It all went away so I'm not really concerned with how much I gain

I'm plus-size. I was down 14 pounds from my starting weight, but I have put on 2 pounds in the past couple of weeks.

Just curious, how are you supposed to gain zero weight during pregnancy? Even if you are overweight, there is more than just putting on fat stores during pregnancy to take into consideration! There is the weight of the baby, extra fluids, amniotic fluid, extra tissue, etc! I'm assuming you/your Dr. just mean no "extra" weight! Nothing to beat yourself up over regardless!
