I can't wait to hear your update, Kelly!!! If everything looks good in the 20wk scan and there's no cause for concern for the rest of your pregnancy, then yes, it'll most likely be the last one. Sad isn't it? We get so used to seeing the little one and then we don't get to for the rest of the pregnancy!!! Well, unless you go to get an elective 4D at the elective U/S businesses. That's always an option!

Yay! I like the 20 week scan because they are so well developed and you get to see them for a while!

I was thinking the same thing! One more u/s for me at my 20 week and then done!

My visit was great! He was preforming for us, and moving around like crazy! They said everything looks wonderful! His heart rate was 162, the down-syndrome test thingy came back negative. He is sooooo cute, and I'm very happy and blessed.

My one concern:
up to this appointment, my weight has remained the exact same. My belly was getting bigger, but the scale wasnt going up. HOWEVER, from 16 to 20 weeks, the scale said I gained 7 pounds. I about fainted. I dont know how that happened. I havent been eating like crazy. And I dont have the room to gain all the weight like I did with my other two. I started off heavier this time. The doctor asked me If I was eating salads, and I told her "Yes, as a snack between meals." She laughed and just said watch the carbs. I went on a 2 mile walk as soon as I got home. I have such a long ways to go, and Im freaked about about gaining weight. My blood pressure was good. Ive always had good blood pressure.. But still, Im concerned.

Don't worry about the weight gain! I am sure your body is just doing what it needs to do. I don't think that you "did" anything to make that happen. I am sure it is going to be fine. I just wish some doctors would be a little more sensitive to how we feel about weight gain. I am already up almost 10 pounds, so don't stress out

I am so glad that everything else went really well

Yay for a great appointment and u/s!!! I too have been really stressing about weight gain as I have gained quite a lot of weight already. My doctor said he isn't worried about it. Of course I am still worried about it! I don't have any advice but I just thought I would let you know you aren't alone!

I'm so glad your appt went well! I wouldn't worry too much about the weight gain. Some women gain in spurts, so that may be what is going on. You may not gain for the next several weeks, and just be one of those who gains 5-10 in a month a couple of times within a few weeks, then nothing for a while. It sounds like you're doing what you need to as far as taking care of yourself, so just keep on at it.

Glad your appt went well!!! I agree with the others, don't worry too much about your weight. I've gained at least 15 already so i understand feeling nervous about it but your body will gain what it needs to for baby

I found out I put on about 3 pounds as well this month, but I'm sure that we are supposed to be gaining. We are at the halfway mark, and our babies are growing too. I'm glad everything went well. My doctor does the 20 week ultrasound, and then again at 32 weeks if everything is going well, which I'm excited about. I know not "seeing" your baby again is a bummer, but I guess it's best just to be grateful there is no "need" for a medical ultrasound.

Amen Lisa! I am very thankful he's doing so wonderful. And thanks girls for the encouragement about my weight. I just need to keep an eye on it. Drink more water, exercise more, and eat more fruits and veggies as opposed to whatever sounds good. I hope you're right Katie, and it was just a growth spurt, and I can maintain this weight for a few weeks! I'm going to start doing my laps in the pool, so hopefully that will help! *hugs* Love you girls!

Glad he's doing well and yes, it's sad that the anatomy scan is often the last U/S we get. In terms of weight, I also feel like I've put a few pounds just in the last 2-3 weeks for some reason. I'm afraid to get weighed LOL
