Im not experienceing any of the usual fun and joy that comes along with pregnancy..right now I just feel crippled..My joints have gotten so loose I have had multiple dislocations and have had to start wearing splints on both wrists because the carpal tunnel syndrome is acting up horribly...Im not having any of the second trimester energy...actually I am more tired and all I do is sleep all the time..Now that im close to 20 weeks Im just waiting for the itching to indicate that the cholestasis has indeed returned for the 4th time..At my last appt I also discovered that I have a bulging disc in my back thats causing me some grief..I just want to start feeling better so I can enjoy at least part of 2012..anyone else still have first trimester jet lag?

oh gosh... it just sounds like you are having a rough time! I'm sorry! My joints have loosened up a LOT, but not as bad as it sounds yours are. My back and feet have been hurting something fierce, but it's still tolerable if I stretch and make sure I rest once I feel like I have hit a wall.

I do notice I am still pretty tired and I have been getting either a nasty headache or a migraine about once a week, but I talked to my Dr. last night about some alternative therapies to try, like yoga, chiropractor, etc. so I'm just deciding which I want to try first!

I'm sorry you don't feel well Jessy. I, too, have not felt the 2nd trimester energy I had with my other 2. If I dont lay down and nap when my son does, I get super cranky. I hope you start feeling better soon!

Honestly this is just insane..I don't even feel better after nap..Friday..I went to bed at 7 pm and my husband came to check on me at what I thought was midnight..but turned out to be noon saturday..um..WHAT? I talked to the nurse after I made my post about this and the doc's concerned its something going wrong in my body so Im having an appt with him this afternoon and also having blood work run before the appt to rule out any kind of medication causing it or nutrient deficiencies..He's also going to run my bile acids early(usually dont start them until the itching starts)..He apparently it also concerned that its just depression so Im being set up with a counselor to work over the fact that I never wanted to be pregnant in the first place..Also could be mommy fatigue from dealing with my boys crazy scedules and being up by 5 every morning and chasing around my very busy 7 month old..Thanks for everything ladies..its nice to have a sounding board because otherwise I may lose my mind..LOL..

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time! I can't imagine being pregnant with a 7 month old, that would be so hard I am super tired all the time also, and my dh is going to be gone for 6 weeks to Germany, so I never get a break. Just take one day at a time, and know that is one day less that you have to be pregnant

My almost 7 month old keeps be pretty busy also. He is trying SOOO hard to crawl. He almost has it but he screams almost all day because he's mad that he's not quite there. My hyperemesis has gotten better, it's not gone though. My arthritis that's been in remission since I was 4 years old decided to come back as soon as I got pregnant. They told me that arthristis usually goes away or gets better during pregnancy. I had to have the one knee drained and put a steriod in. The other knee is not far behind. The original knee is swelling up again. Pfff!

I am so sorry things are so rough for you. Pregnancy should be a joyful time and I am very sorry it isn't working out that way for you

I really hope you start feeling better soon!
