I love love love love eggs! I always have! My dad is allergic to them, and said he could eat them just fine when he was a kid. Well about 5 years ago, I started getting sick about 30 minutes after I ate them. Then I would throw up for about an hour, and then be fine. I've missed eating eggs, but assumed I developed the allergy as an adult, just like my dad did. For some reason, ever since Easter, I've been craving egg salad sooooooo badly. So last week I said made a sandwich, and ate it, and then went and laid down, just in case I started to feel sick. Well my little boy started moving like crazy, and I never got sick!! Today, I made another sandwich, and again, he moved like crazy, and i didnt get sick. I guess he really loves them. Isnt it strange though that I can eat something I'm allergic to?

Another weird weird thing.. I've gotten sick and thrown up on two different occasions when I ate white rice. Just plain ol' bland white rice. I guess he doesn't like it at all.

Actually that is really common with any kind of allergy. You could be deathly allergic for years, and then suddenly not be allergic anymore, or vice versa! I always thought that was interesting!

Actually when your pregnant you can lose your allergies, esp milk ones. I am allergic to egg since birth and i have issues with dairy but am able to handle dairy more when i am pregnant. I will say those when i eat something accidentally that has egg in it my baby will get REALLY active also. Sadly i have not gotten over my egg allergy when pregnant but having some cheese occasionally is nice You will more then likely be allergic to them again after pregnancy. You might have to try it!

I'm so glad I posted this! I had no idea food allergies could go away while you're pregnant! That is so odd and amazing! I am super excited to be able to enjoy eggs again, even if its only for a few months. Thanks girls!

I am usually allergic to the "skin" of fruits. Apples, plums etc. Its not really a deathly allergy, but one of annoyance. I get a really itchy throat.

I am noticing that it really isn't affecting me as badly as it was before. I will definitely take it as a positive

DH has that! I think it's called Oral Allergy syndrome, and it's lots of fruits and a few veggies that bother him- melon, apples, kiwis, bell peppers. I've always thought that was an interesting one.
