4 chicken thighs skinned and sprinkled with salt and pepper
1 small, or half a large onion chopped
4 rashers bacon chopped
1 16oz (the small kind) tin of baked beans
cook up bacon, when the fat starts to render, add onions and cook till translucent and bacon is crispy. Add to crock pot. In same pan brown chicken on both sides. place on top of the bacon and onions. Cook on high for 4 hours. Remove chicken(may remove bones and shred if you wish), add baked beans to crock pot and stir, replace chicken and cook for 20 min more. Serve.
Eta: I got a new crock pot, and found that this nearly burns in the extra large kind. I think it would work better to increase portions in that size cooker.

I have realized that I love dishes like that more and more the longer my pregnancy lasts - my baby seems to be hungry all the time no seriously, I think I burn many more calories since I am pregnant and I need more sleep.
I'll try your receipt, it sounds good!
