Hey so at my OB appt on wednesday, my OB went over my anatomy scan from friday and she told me baby is great and has all the stuff he should but then she told me that I have a low placenta. She drew me a picture and basicly the end of my placents is right next to my cervix. She said it was a concern but not a concern if that makes sense lol but she said normaly with the uterus growing the placenta will move up with it. So at my next u/s at 28 weeks she said she wants to look at it again.
She just didn't give me a whole lot of info about so I was just wondering if anybody else has been told this or has had it in past pregnacys or knows anything more about it in general? But thanks a bunch ahead of time!
I was told pretty much the same on Thursday, he said that was why I mostly felt the baby kick against my cervix.
The only instructions I got was to take it a bit easier and rest more than I normally would. No more lying on my back now as it would be even more uncomfortable than usual. Of course mine was also related to the pubic bone pain I have been experiencing because of the pressure.
He said that things will shift up and possibly by the next appointment even (24 weeks) and not worry.
Thanks girls! That helps! My +! Dosent really talk to me much about anything, she just comes in and says things look good even though she hasent seen me in a month lol then answers questions fast an then says ill see you in 4 weeks! Its kind of sucky expecially since its my first pregnancy and I would like to know what's going on! Anywho thank you girls!
I haven't had this but hopefully it won't be an issue! I understand the doctor situation.. my last doctor was exactly like that! She'd be leaving and i'd be like "wait i have some questions" I always felt rushed to ask everything i needed to.
