Ok I am seriously horrible about remembering to take my vitamins. I have to take them at different times of the day because of how many I have to take, and I find myself forgetting a lot. I take my prenatal with breakfast. With my morning snack I take the folic acid, b6, and b12. With lunch I take the baby aspirin. Before bed I take my calcium supplement. The Ob wants me to take them like this which is a huge pain in the butt. I had a hard enough time remembering when I just took them all in the morning, and I set an alarm for that on my watch. I need to figure something out because I really need to get better at taking all of these everyday. I can't leave them out where I can see them because of the kids. I don't know what else I can do. Sometimes I am so spacey that I remember to take them, and then I can't remember if I actually took them or not. Any ideas?
I am bad about just the pre-natal vitamin. Plus they want me to take extra calcium because I'm horrible about milk and other dairy consumption. I eat cheese on my pizza and ice cream and that's about it lol
I was thinking the bill box is a nice way to have them all together and then just figure out a way to incorporate the box into your schedule. Do you set the table when you eat dinner? If so, make sure your pill box is part of the "table setting" with each meal. I just have an alarm set on my phone for 7pm that reminds me if I haven't taken my pill yet today to take it! Maybe you could do something similar 3 times a day. If you usually eat lunch around noon, set the alarm for sometime after that so you have a window to take it. It just takes time to develop a habit!
Well I have a pill organizer. I don't really have an alarm I can set anymore because my watch broke. My phone is a piece of crap, and only allows three alarms. One is to wake me up in the morning, one is set to remind me to go get my dd from school (or wake me up if I happen to catch a nap), and the other one is set to wake my dh up in the morning. I just need a keeper. Lol. I think I am just going to have to take them all in the morning again. I know that they wont absorb as well, but it has to be better than me not taking them because I forget. Right? Thank you all for the ideas.
