What will your LO wear the day you bring them home?

My daughter was born in January and came home March 1st, so there was no question that she needed some bundling (long sleeves, pants, sweater, hat, socks, thick blanket) for her trip home and other outings. I am debating what to do for this LO since it will likely be upper 80's-90's when he comes home. I'm just curious what other mommies will be putting on their newborns for homecoming outfits. I was thinking of still using long sleeves and pants since we will be in a car with the a/c on, but I don't want to over do it or under do it since I know newborns don't regulate body temp well right away. Maybe I'm just over thinking the whole thing? What do you think?

I've got a soft little summer dress for her to wear. It's going to be hot here in Southern Cali. You could put him in something light, and bring a blanket for the car?

I plan to put a light summer dress on her. She won't be wearing a hat, but I will put socks on her and cover her with a light muslin blanket.

Its going to be freakishly hot here but indoors and in the car the ac is always cranked up. This little man will be likely in a onesie with pants, socks and a light blanket.

our "summer" here has been off to a slow and wet start, and I have no idea what it is going to be like in another 3 weeks! So as I've been starting to pack my bags I have 3 different outfits for her to possibly come home in. one sleeveless, legless onesie. One with short sleeves/short legs, and one with full long sleeves and legs!

I have a short sleeved onesie outfit that has pants. While hot outside, the AC makes things a bit chillier inside. Outside of the carseat, he will probably be swaddled and in that case, just a onesie.

It should be in the 90s here (next week....eeeek!), so I'm thinking he'll wear some kind of romper. I'll have a light blanket to cover him with for in the car.
