How are you staying comfortable in these last few weeks?

I can NOT get comfortable. I really, really want an exercise/yoga ball to sit and bounce on because I think it would help a ton! Aside from that I've just been sitting backwards on a chair (hey, supposed to help open the pelvis and its comfortable even if I look like fool).

Night time is the worst for me because its not comfortable to sleep on either side anymore. Only my back. However, the weight of the baby is pressing right onto my spine and siatic nerve. I'm walking around with a limp during the day and my belly feels like it ran a marathon. It feels like a muscle strain. If I sleep on my side, I feel better during the day. However, I just can't sleep on my side no matter the amount of pillows, etc I use to support my belly.

I am almost half tempted to just stay on my hands and knees also to keep pressure off my back/spine since that is comfortable also.

Oh, and did I mention getting in and out of my little sedan is a joke? Yup. A big fat joke. I can fall into the seat just fine, but I have to basically pull myself with all my strength to get out.

I hate to complain. I know it could be worse. I know that we will meet baby within the next 3 weeks. Even so, these little things coupled with some anxious relatives are really doing a number on me.

I can totally relate to the old sciatic nerve!! So painful!! I dealt with it up until a couple wks ago... then 1 night I had 2 hard contx n the next morning I felt right away that it moved off the nerve! I could actually get out of bed without severe pain!! Felt like a new person!! Hope yours goes away too!

everything you said there describes exactly how I feel. My life saver is my yoga ball..so I say GO GET ONE!! It feels so good on my back when I sit on it, or I got on the floor on my knees and rest my arms and chest on it. DH will walk his hands on my back when im like this and it feels amazing. really hard to get up afterwards...lol but it feels good.
Hang in there mamma...the end is so near....it is. (I'm telling myself this as much as you btw lol)

For the most part I am pretty dang comfortable still except at the times I am not LOL....usually later in the day is when I am most uncomfy so like dinner time to bed time. DH has pretty much told me I am to do nothing today besides my doctor appointment we are going to here in an hour. Last day being pregnant for me and then I get the post c-section discomfort to deal with but yayyy baby!!!
