I don't sleep for a number of reasons. I am either up with heartburn or acid reflux where I actually throw up in my sleep, leg cramps, restless legs, headaches, sore back, or I need to pee. I also wake up choking from having too much spit in my mouth. On average, I get up every two hours. On a bad night, I get up every single hour on the hour.
I'm with you, Aubrey. I'm up at least once every hour & a half or so, too.
It seems, however, that every single time I get up, Taryn has settled into the left side of my body, so when I go to actually get OUT of bed... It feels like I need a crane to lift my belly too! *laughs*
Our little girls must think alike because Summer is ALWAYS on my left side in the middle of the night, just laying there all curled up!!! It makes it difficult/weird to get out of bed!!!
I'm lucky this pregnancy has been so much better than my pregnancy with DS. In fact I'm almost afraid to jinx it! I usually only get up once to pee and it's only rarely that I can't get back to sleep or get pregnancy insomnia. With DS I had pregnancy insomnia so bad I could barely function. The heartburn is rough but I'm able to manage it with meds for the most part.
