Yesterday I made tuna, sweetcorn and avocado pasta and will be eating the second half of that for Sunday dinner with a bit of cheese and maybe some tomato and cucumber. Yesterday I had my main meal at lunch time to try and ward off the dreadful heartburn I've been getting of an evening, and it worked, so will be doing that again.

What about the rest of you?

I think tonight I'm going to make penne with a homemade sauce with meatballs and italian sausage. I've been craving it all week. LOL!

It's not even Sunday here yet ;-)

However, I think I am going to make a chicken dish of some sort - I am thinking my moms mayo with parm cheese & other seasonings on the chicken breast (prob sounds gross, but it's late so I am not all the coherent, it's tasty though) with artichokes!

We have an abundance of produce so last night we made a veggie plate (skillet corn with jalapeno, green beans, fried okra, and sliced tomatoes....ALL from my hubby's garden!!)

Tonight we will probably do a similar veggie thing but add on some fish. He bought some fresh snapper yesterday but we didn't feel like cooking it last night so we must do so tonight!

Gotta love summer in the South!! Can't get enough produce!

Anything I don't have to cook? I really have no idea. I feel like we eat the same stuff all the time.

You always post this on DH's Sundays at work so I feel like a lonely old bat eating whatever is easiest to scrounge up for just myself, lol!

Jennifer, we're the same way. A couple weeks ago I sat down and scoured pinterest and allrecipes.com for some new inspiration, but its such a pain making a grocery list for such specific meal plans, but if I don't, we end up eating all the easy, always on hand ingredient go tos. It gets boring so fast. Maybe that'll be my goal again today. Our commissary had a crazy sale on chicken last week though, so the going joke in our house is "what kind of chicken is for dinner tonight?". But, you can't beat chicken for dirt cheap. It was all 50% off with a bonus 1.25 off coupon. Yeah, huge packs of chicken breast for like 1.50. I got chicken wings for .13! I digress, but I'm still excited about my bargain, even if I am sick of chicken already.

My husband works on Sundays too. We try to have a Sunday meal about once or twice a month though....

Today I am taking the kids with me to a pool party the ladies are having from church. One of my friends is grilling out hamburgers and hot dogs and I'm bringing a side dish of pasta salad. I'll stay there till I can't stand it anymore, then I'm gonna go drop the kids off at my dad's house for the ENTIRE WEEK!!!!

Today we are going on a road trip to see some waterfalls and see a part of the province we haven't really been to before.

When we get home - Rich is making us French toast and sausages! Yum.

I'm having leftovers of my mom's homemade chicken and dumplings for lunch (my favorite meal in the world), and we are going to have breakfast for dinner!

No idea! Going to be a cupboard cleaning kind of dinner. We have no produce and no defrosted meat. We're really low on groceries. Bedrest is throwing us all off.

Steak, potatoes and grilled veggies...yum! We normally do this on Saturday nights but we didn't go grocery shopping until today so we're having our steak dinner tonight...very excited for it!

Panko crusted chicken seasoned with parmesan & pepper, roasted sweet potato, white potato and squash with rosemary & thyme, and garlic chili seasoned green beans. I'm starved just thinking about it!

I'm going to heat up some ham, test the trial run of homemade frozen fries I did this morning and beans from the garden.
