I figure if it is, it's just waiting for contractions so no huge need to call the midwife at 5am.
I've been doing evening primrose oil to soften my cervix as directed. It's messy and the oil has a distinct smell (kinda like olive oil). I wear a pantiliner for comfort. Woke up and changed the liner. An hor later it is soaked. It doesn't smell like the oil and it doesn't smell like urine. It smells like nothing.

I've been having contractions since I woke up at 3:30 am. Nothing serious, just annoying. I'll call the office At a more reasonable hour, bu figured I'd post in the mean time.
THE angry uterus likes this.

Yep, sounds like a leak to me. And the one thing I learned is ask for a actual exam and not just the amni-sure test and/or the paper they use to test for leaking water.

My son most likely would have been born the day before if they would have done an exam to see if my water was leaking.

Your post caught my attention! Please don't let it go. I just had my baby Sat., Fri. I was suspecting a leak, but waited till Sat. am to call. It was a leak, and I have group b strep and now our little guy got an infection from having a prolonged rupture. Pnemonia in his 1 lung. He'll be in the NICU for at least 7 days on antibiotics. I actually don't know if it was leaking before Friday or not. But anyways, you might be in the hospital by now . Good luck!

I am fairly sure it was just urine upon closer inspection. I do have an appointment tomorrow first thing and will verify.
