I am so exhausted from having contractions non-stop until I finally am so exhausted all my body wants to do is sleep. They get so intense and close together. I know labor is coming. They are causing cervical changes. It is just so frustrating to have regular contractions for hours that don't let up and have to work through only to die out because my body needs sleep.

The worst part is, I know if I kept contracting I would have been too exhausted come transition/pushing time. So obviously it's a good thing they fizzled out so I can sleep. It just stinks.

oh no that must be so frustrating!! I haven't had any contractions aside from some really intense BH. So for my labor it'll probably just hit all at once, at least you get some practice lol I hope they lead somewhere for you soon!

This happened to somebody else a couple of weeks ago...can't remember who and then she had her baby after a few days! You're close! Go walk for a few hours, I've heard that's the key to getting real contractions to stick if you're having trouble. I will go walk at the mall (too hot here) in a couple weeks if mine isn't here by then. Good luck!

I hope its not a few days! LOL! Mucus plug has been coming out all day and contractions getting back into a good pattern. I just need them to reach that next level to head up to the birth center.

I've been using my yoga ball, took a bath, gone for walks, laid down. Nothing is slowing them down which is good!

No baby yet. When I called my midwife she said its early labor most likely and just to rest, be patient. I'm dilating and effacing. Baby has moved lower. Just need that "next" stage. Grrr!

At least I got good sleep last night and I'm sure baby will be here by the weekend.
