Flowers!
  1. What is your favourite flower?
  2. Do you buy or send other people flowers for special occasions?
  3. Have you ever picked flowers from your own garden (or wild flowers, if you don't have a garden) to give to someone else?
  4. If flowers could talk (think Alice In Wonderland), which flower would you most like to converse with?
  5. Have you ever used edible flowers in cooking, or eaten one?

My favourite flower is the calla lily.

Yes, sometimes.

Yes, all the time for my Mum and my MIL plus we sell them at the farmer's market.

I would like to speak with a sweet pea - maybe their breath would smell like them.

Last year I tried eating calendula and cornflower. Using them is a bit too fussy for my cooking style.

What is your favourite flower?
Do I have to pick just one? I'll go with petunias

Do you buy or send other people flowers for special occasions?
usually just 'cause rather than special occassions

Have you ever picked flowers from your own garden (or wild flowers, if you don't have a garden) to give to someone else?
I have but with no one living close by, not often. I cut them for me all the time though

If flowers could talk (think Alice In Wonderland), which flower would you most like to converse with?
I'll go with snap dragons too because they're lovely and the smell so awesome.

Have you ever used edible flowers in cooking, or eaten one?
I have but I'm lazy and prefer to concentrate on taste over aesthetics

Yes, when I was a little girl I loved doing that.

4.If flowers could talk (think Alice In Wonderland), which flower would you most like to converse with?
This sounds like something my daughter would ask me. Probably a buttercup.

5.Have you ever used edible flowers in cooking, or eaten one?
No. I did see an episode of Chopped that used flowers, and I wondered what they taste like.

What is your favourite flower? I love roses, especially deep red and white.
Do you buy or send other people flowers for special occasions? Sometimes for mother's day.
Have you ever picked flowers from your own garden (or wild flowers, if you don't have a garden) to give to someone else? Not since I was a kid.
If flowers could talk (think Alice In Wonderland), which flower would you most like to converse with? I'm going to say a dandelion (even though they're technically a weed).
Have you ever used edible flowers in cooking, or eaten one? I've eaten them, but never cooked with them.

They're lilies. When the entire planet is dead and gone it will be populated with them and a few cockroaches.

Yep, ditch lilies are really hard to get rid of but it is doable. I have pretty much eradicated them from the 'wild corners' of our lot. They are easiest to dig up in the spring.

Do not let them mar your view of other day lilies though. The bred ones aren't invasive since they aren't as strong.
