I know there are still a few mamma's waiting to meet their LO's, and some may not even be thinking of this topic yet! But I see it coming up a little more often on the FB page, so I thought I'd get this thread going. Share lots of tips and idea's!
What are your weight-loss goals for mommies who have had their LO's? :

I am someone who has HAD their LO.. lol I was the first, and even though I really want to lose the weight and tighten back up, Im not actively trying. I did a cardio workout once since Kenny was born and it felt really good, but its too hard to implement into my schedule until my older kids go back to school.
Im curious to know what other mom's are planning on doing! I would like to do Insanity once my kids are in school

Im at my pre-preg weight. But I still would like to lose about 15 pounds. Not sure how that will work with nursing. Dh and I are going to look into gym memberships, but will most likely buy a treadmill for the house instead. The biggest challenge is that I work and am nursing and overall very active. It's hard to fit in the gym, with dd1s sports, etc. not enough hours in the day.

I've lost half of my baby weight, but I haven't started doing any workouts yet. I'm planning to start next week going back to zumba twice a week like I did throughout the pregnancy. I'm really hoping that will help.
I need to lose 18 more lbs in baby weight, and I'm hoping if I get on a roll it will just keep going and I can lose the last 15 that I couldn't get off before I got pregnant
So far, the biggest challenge is that I can't seem to remember I'm not pregnant anymore and I should eat a bit less than I was for 9 months if I want to lose weight!
I gain a lot of weight in all of my pregnancies. I think with this babe I gained about 55 lbs. It's been a week and I've lost the normal 20 or so of baby, placenta and water weight. I have quite a way to go!!! I don't know why, but I don't lose my baby weight until I stop breast feeding, so like a year later! I don't want that to happen again so my "plan" is to eat a lot more veggies (I'm a carbs girl) and cut out ice cream and pies, my weakness. Also, I'm not all hung up on being my pre preg size, I will be happy in a size 4 or even 6. About an 8 or 10 now.
I generally don't "try" anything to loose weight. I do my best to live a healthy lifestyle: eat right, stay active, live healthy all in general. I'm not the skinniest girl on the block, nor am I super toned, but I feel and look healthy and that's what matters the most to me.
