Has anyone noticed an increase in weight loss while nursing?

With my first, I didn't loss any weight while nursing and gained 15 pounds when I stopped. I gained 10 pounds, and lost that with delivery. Aside from that NOTHING. Since then I gained another 15 pounds (hormone issues).

This time, I lost the pregnancy weight with delivery. And have lost 6 additional pounds. I've lost about 20 pounds since having DD2. I'm eating for 2 and I'm not doing anything crazy exercise wise (if I do anything at all).

I would love it for the weight to keep melting off and I am planning to incorporate more exercise into my routine. Probably a 2 mile walk to and from DD1's school. I don't want to do too much, but I've really struggled with my weight since having DD1. Right now, I'm about 15-20 pounds from my ideal weight.

With both daughters I lost the pregnancy weight and nothing else. My OB said that is normal and if I tried to cut calories (from what I am eating now & not losing) my milk supply will decrease. He said it is actually abnormal to lose more weight than what you gained in pregnancy. This is not what I always thought!

I lost all pregnancy weight with DS1 and actually lost additional 5 lb by working out. This time around, I gained 10 lb more and lost half ( 25lb) in the first 6 weeks and losing more. I had a stomach virus last week, that was terrible but at least I dropped 7 lb and have about 15 more to go.
I need to work out to loose the extra and got to give myself some time. It has only been almost two months. Nursing makes me eat more not necessarily lose weight.

Nursing moms tend to see a weight loss between 3-6 months and at that point tend to lose more and have narrower hips than moms who don't bf. Nursing burns between 500-1000 calories a day, so between that and eating right and exercising it will come off, just a bit more slowly maybe! I've lost 37 lbs. since delivery and I'm not doing anything other than nursing, chasing my toddler, and the occasional walk.

That is kinda where I am concerned. I'm certainly not trying to limit my calorie intake at all, but weight is melting away. I don't want to loss so much weight that it impacts my milk supply. I'll have to see what my weight is at my appointment this week and ask my midwife her thoughts.

I lost almost the entire 50 pounds I gained with DD#1 by my 4 week visit. I was BFing, but I think most of it was truely water weight and baby. (I was soooooo swollen!!) Since then it has taken longer with each baby to loose the weight. This time though, I didn't gain as much (only 27 pounds compared to the 40-50 in the other pregnancies), and last I knew I was 10-15 pounds left to loose. I am almost certain since I dropped dairy and soy I started loosing more (since it seems like I can't eat anything and what I can eat makes a modified atkins diet). I would LOVE to go back down to 105 (be nice, I'm only 4'11"), but I'm not counting on it!
