How old is your LO, and have you managed to establish any sort of routine? Does baby go to bed at the same time every night/wake up same time time every morning? Do you feed on demand or do you have a schedule?

No real routine here. He does go to bed at the same time every day - around 7:30, but the rest of the day is differend every day. He can sleep in till 9 am, but his brother often wakes him up with kisses. I feed on demand and started offering more in the evening to prolong his night sleep.

The only routine I am trying just now to implement is bed time. I try to super feed her around 9/9:30 and get her (and ME!) in bed by 10. She is usually awake in the morning at 5:30, raring to go..which is when dh gets up with her. Other than that...I don't know how much of a routine you can really do with a 3 week old! lol
I do on demand feeding as well, but like kumii, I encourage a little bit more at bed time feeding.

Ha ha ha... I feel the same way Kemper. If I'm honest with myself, I long for the day when our life will be (relatively) scheduled... however... I don't see that happening for another 5 years or so (when Kira's in Kindergrden??? Maybe) and even then... ha ha... not very likely. *sigh*

Not a chance lol. This girl eats when she wants to eat and "plays" when she wants to play.

1 month old and we pretty much get settled around 10 or 11, and so far it's been about every 2-3 hrs. on demand... Maybe alittle longer here and there. Wake up around 7ish, but can sometimes go back to sleep, if his reflux/gas isn't bothering him too much..

Tommy is 5 weeks old. He doesn't have a routine, but we put him in his "bed" (bassinet) after his night feeding, which is usually around 10:30pm. He usually wakes to eat again around 3:00/3:30am and then again around 7:00. No routine yet, but will start to try to establish something when he is about 12 weeks.

I've decided this week that we need to start a routine back up. When I was in school, we had a good routine going, now that I'm not working, not in school, and baby is here, our routine is shot.

So far though, Baby George tends to go to sleep for the night between 9-11pm, and doesn't have a wake up time, but gets exceptionally fussy by 7:30ish. So, he seems to be following big brother's sleep/wake schedule. He's usually cute and active for about 30 min in the morning, and 30 min in the early afternoon.

As for feedings, we feed on demand, which happens to be every 2 hours during the day, almost to the minute at times!!
