I was online searching for myths on how to induce labor (just for fun because I really dont believe in any of it) and I found this restaurant in Georgia that supposedly has an eggplant parmigian dish that has made tons of women go into labor. Here is their website with the story & recipe: Mothers to Be
I just don't have the energy to do the grocery shopping and try to make the recipe. Maybe doing all that work would put me into labor! But if anyone else tries it, I am curious to know what happens. Other websites say that eggplant does nothing, but basil & oregano have labor inducing properties. I can tell you I have a garden full of basil & oregano and have been eating it all summer so I don't believe in that at all.
Someone in my last DDC tried it. I think a few of them did. It was delicious but didn't work for them. They also said it took so much time to make it they'd probably never make it again even though it tasted great!
If I go too far over my due date and they start talking induction I might try it though.
