I'm just starting to get the hang of it and normally I get 2 ounces out of a session. Finn is a month old. Is this enough? Also, the other day I was completely engorged and pumped 7 1/2 ounces and he was able to drink 4 ounces comfortably. Approximately how much do you get out of a session and how much is your baby drinking?
2 ounces is GREAT! I try to pump in approx 2 oz increments. I CAN pump more but at this point, I try not to pump more than 4 oz at a time. I freeze 2 oz per bag, and offer 2oz in a bottle at a time. Here is a great resource to help out. We just talked about this in the July DDC and this was helpful to read:

I think it can vary from person to person just depending on how frequently your baby eats . 2 oz is good, I think. I pumped a lot with my first and that's about how much I'd pump at this age; as they get older, you produce more. Drinking lots of water helps too .
I'm not sure in oz. I'm getting 60-90ml consistently every time I express. For the most part it's enough to satisfy baby. Sometimes on her evening feed she's still hungry after and has a little formula to top her up.
