Does your LO's awake times correspond with the times he/she was most active before birth?

Cameron was pretty consistent in terms of time he was active in utero - i.e. every couple of hours. That is consistent with now - he always sleeps for 2.5 hours and then wakes up to eat and such. Just the last few days he's started staying awake longer so I expect he won't be as consistent as before birth going forward.

I'm interested to find out what they'll be like because he's always quieter in the morning and then at night, usually around 11:00 he starts to party.

Maybe I'll get to find out one day. If he ever decides to come out of me!

Oh yes, she was most active between 9pm-Midnight....tjats when her crying fits were starting, but I think she's getting turned around now.

The first week or two I would say yes, but not anymore.

I felt Emily move all the time throughout the day and night but she was more active at night, which has been consistent with her night owl activity post-birth.

In the first week and a half, his patterns were absolutely the same as in utero. Now, though, he has major cluster feeding sessions, which throw that pattern for a loop.

My baby was never really active, and she still isn't lol. She is so mellow compared to her big sis! Even when awake, she just likes to be held on the couch. With my first, we had to walk around with her or bounce her in the bouncer, she hated being still!

Interesting question!

Michaela is sleepier in the morning, and at her most awake and alert between dinner and midnight - and yes, that's consistent with her movement pattern in the womb. Interesting!
