Does anyone know... if I eat something right now, does it get to Summer today? or tomorrow? How does that work? She's been really fussy today and gassy and I'm wondering if it's what I ate. I *thought* I read somewhere it gets to the breast milk within 2 hours... but I could be confusing that with the whole alcohol beverage thing???

Yup - It usually affects baby within a few hours. I've already figured out that I can't have pizza. At least, not as much in 1 day as I did that one time. . . :x

Depending in your metabolism, 2-4 hours. But things like caffeine can stay in your system for a lot longer. So if you pack in a lot of caffeine one day, and it makes your baby cranky. It might last longer than just a couple of hours unfortunately.

I think it was some chocolate milk that I had. I've noticed a few times when I've drank
Milk she's acted fussy. Which bums me out because I'm a milk lover.

I had a takeaway pizza and fries one night and she was definitely more fussy when drinking the milk I expressed at that time - not sure whether it was an objection to junk food in general, or cheese. It's hard figuring it all out.
