Sister has been to the pool, dipped her feet in the water at the beach during sunset a few days ago & yesterday we went on a little paved hike to a waterfall. She's, obviously, been hidden away from the sun at all times though.
Nothing yet, since I can't drive or walk any distance yet, and I'm struggling to get Shaun to take me anywhere in the car since he's either tired from staying up or has his head full of his court case.
Big brother (almost 3yrs) pushed her in her pram all the way down the street to where his favorite cows are, while shouting that mommy was not aloud to touch the pram.... yes we live in the country... and yes the pram got driven through some mud and low branches lol
We have been all over - i only made it 10 days before i started going stir crazy and had to get out the house!
On top of our daily walks in the countryside we have been to the supermarket a few times, we took a quick trip to the beach and round the lakeside walk, we went to a birthday party last week and we go visiting relatives most evenings but i usually end up nursing in the sitting room and missing half the conversation!
Other than doc's appts, the first thing we did was go to a birthday party at Red Lobster to celebrate the summer birthdays in my family. Then we went to sunday morning church, and on Monday we went to a Rally for Improving Birth and Rowan got to meet all of my Childbirth professional friends (doulas, midwives, childbirth ed teachers, OB's, nurses, etc).

Ahh, that's the only part about Florida I miss! Being so close to the amusement parks for Halloween. I L O V E Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, so sad to be missing it this year. It's not a huge deal though considering I'd be missing it anyway, not exactly a newborn friendly event.
Ava went to the grocery store at like 4 days old, is that and exciting adventure? She's been to walmart a few times.. and the mall. Nothing exciting, just outings for errands.
