My baby is 4 weeks and was getting pumped breastmilk this whole time. Well I'm not producing enoughnowso we are starting to mix formula in. we started yesterday and she has been spitting up ever since. almost every time I move her it happens. Do I need to switch formula?

Yep, I'd switch. But if she hasntvhad any formula until now, her tummy might just need to adjust. I'd get a sensitive formula.

We tried a couple different sensitive/gentle formulas with Emily but she still spit up a lot so we switched to formula designed to prevent spit up. Enfamil A.R. and Similac Spit Up both have rice starch in them to help the formula stay down and since we've started using it, there's been a significant decrease in the amount of spitting up.

Sounds like you might be better off switching. I would go with a more gentler formula. Try an anti spit up formula like what has been suggested.

Some formulas are too rich for some babies. The hospital started Michaela on Cow & Gate, which made her vomit A LOT. She's much better on SMA, which I used for my son.

Looks like she just needed to get used to it. Spitting up has nearly gone away. Now dealing with her not having bm. Ugh I hate formula
