So, Friday is the wedding I'm in. I have approximately 24oz of milk stashed... There's a pretty good chance I will be away from Summer for a majority of the day while I'm getting ready and doing pictures and all of that. Do you think this will be enough? That's 6 4ox bottles... plus I'm going to try my hardest to pump because I'm sure I will be engorged at least once before I'm able to really have some time with her (at the reception, 7pm). Any tips or advice? Do you think we'll be ok? I don't mind giving her formula because she already gets a bottle once a night, but I really prefer to keep it on the minimal. I'm getting nervous!!! It seems the past few days all she wants to do it nurse nurse nurse, so when Friday comes I'm not sure how to tell my mom to do the feedings. Should we do 4oz bottles? or 3oz? Even 2oz? (although I'm sure that will be way to little).

I never left Daniel that early so am not sure what to advise. Remember your mom has taken care of a baby before, and it's probably fine to trust her judgement. I would make them up as 4oz bottles if that's the size of feed Summer's meant to have.

I would make 3 ounce bottles. She seems to be feeding a little less than Finn. That way if she doesn't finish it, there's no waste!

I would have smaller bottles for less waste just in case.

Yup I do 2 oz bottles, if she wants more I would rather warm another ounce than waste any liquid gold! I also think 24 oz will be enough Have fun!!

I've been pumping for daycare over the last week and I just give them the bottles that I pump without combining it or anything. I usually pump 4 2-3oz bottles a day and Emily takes one every 2-2 1/2 hours.
