After your stitches dissolved, were you more sore?
I'm asking because my tears where my stitches were didn't bother me at all. The only tear that hurt was my non stitch tear, that caused horrible stinging pee. (No stinging pee where the stitches were).
Now that my stitches have dissolved, I'm more sore and I'm having stinging pee where the stitches were. Is this normal?
I went to the OB about 2 weeks ago, and I'm healing properly, just slowly.
I'm sorry . I actually found the opposite is true this time. With my first, though, I ended up getting more sore later on and it ended up being the way the stitches were done. I also was worried about an infection so I went to an urgent care b/c I couldn't sit down and they gave me an antibiotic. Hope you feel better soon.
i dont know hun - half my stitches are fine, healed and sorted but the other half have a weird bump/lump that is really painful. im getting it checked in the next coupe of days to see if thats normal or not.
I'm 5 1/2 weeks PP and still have stinging pee/soreness. The tear doesn't look infected or anything, but it just won't stop stinging. I've even been using a hemorrhoid pillow to alleviate pressure on the area when I'm sitting. I resumed sitz baths last week too. Nothing seems to help. I have an appointment with my OB this week, and I'm hoping she has suggestions or something to help. Sounds like you and I are in the same boat.
