cris, you do not suck...the fact that youre battling on with it when youre finding it tough shows how dedicated of a mom you are. I have never tandem nursed but breastfeeding, even expressing milk, does not come naturally to me at all and honestly there are times I hate it. I only carry on because I love my daughter so very much. hon xxx

Hugs Cris.

Tandem nursing can be very hard. I tandem nursed Audrey and Sam and it went well but they were only 13 months apart and I was determined to be super nursing mama. I hadn't planned to tandem again but I hadn't got Sam all the way weaned before Sarah was born. I can NOT stand to nurse her anymore. Creeps me right out. She doesn't want to wean but I just can't do it any more. You totally don't suck for feeling like this. You are beyond awesome for nursing your son as long as you have.

Cris, I hope your sister gets tired of that guy soon. What are your parents thinking? Do they feel sorry for him or something?

It's ok if you hate tandem nursing - you can't force yourself to like something if it is truly not for you.

Thanks ladies I was having a bad day

Sharron, my hat goes off to you. Pumping must take so much dedication

Melanie, I get a similar feeling. It's funny how it was ok and the baby came and then it just wasn't

Maggie, DH and I have a couple of theories. They have a history of taking in older kids in unfortunate situations (which is great don't get me wrong) but they just don't know when to say enough and often end up getting screwed over. Even if others see that they're being taken advantage of, you can't say anything so we don't...except Grandma, this time, and they even got snarky with her - no one talks to Grandma like that, it's just not done.
I think he's just a sponge who is taking advantage of my sister and my parents and I have no use for it. I just hope she doesn't get pregnant - nothing against ladies who had their babies young but I bet he'd split in a heartbeat.

If I had a husband like some of those described here, I would be a single mother. I would not put up with that at ALL.

I just want to complain about post partum depression and the lack of resources. I ended up in the ER because of it and ended up with a script for benedryl to 'help me sleep.' ***?
