I might start using the database. I tried a few foods and it brought up what I wanted. I like to write my calories down as I go though. I am old school that way.

Ok, I will now swear by MFP. In one week, I broke through where I plateaued for over a month. I am so stinking happy right now!

And even though we're not in the US, my parents are doing a turkey tonight...I WILL BE GOOD...that is my mantra lol.

So I was on the treadmill with Cameron in the Ergo for 25 min today at 3.5 speed and a 4% incline. The treadmill said I burned 181 calories (I typed in my weight but not age or gender). MFP showed for 3.5 brisk walk was like 140 calories, and for walking carrying an infant was like 130 calories.

So which one is more accurate? I'm leaning towards the treadmill, but I don't want to take that just so I get the extra calories. Anyone have any experience?

Take the average and call it good. Those numbers are just good estimates. It's only a 50 cal spread so even if you do it every day it's only 350 calories over the week. Not huge.

You might be interested in the Bodybugg, it tracks your calories expended using sensors.
