Do any really sound like a fan? I cannot sleep without the fan. But I've noticed I'm waking up with a dry throat. If I am, I'm sure Summer is as well. She has a lil cough in the mornings to lead me to think so. Anyhow, the apps I've found do not sound like a fan to me so I thought I'd ask y'all for suggestions.

I do have the humidifier on as well. I can't do that by itself bc it makes me have to pee lmbo. It makes like a trickling noise.

I used to ALWAYS have to sleep with a fan before DD (Since a child and I would even bring one on trips...lol), but I've since gotten used to going without. The fan was just too cold for Madeline, so I had to quit it. But, you could get one of the small portable fans from WalMart/Target (they're $15) and just point it away from you and Summer. That way you get the true sound, but not the cold.

I have a Relax sleep app on my phone that has 40 different sounds. I highly recommend. The Air Conditioning sound is like a fan and that's the one I usually use.

I bought Dr. Karp's Happiest Baby on the Block CD and the "low vacuum" sound sounds more like a fan/the bathroom fan to me. I use it every night, but I think it helps me more than Ava!

We use the hair dryer. Last night Pippa woke up at 2:00 a.m. for the first time since she was 6 weeks old. Then I realized the hair dryer had finally given out! Looks like a trip to Target is in store for us. We have tried white noise machines, and they just are not loud enough for her.

I don't know, we use the ocean/crashing waves sound for Adalyn on all the white noise machines/apps we use. . . That seems to work great for her.

Buy the 99 cent WhiteNoise app - It has a bunch of different white noise options, I believe the hair drier is one.

Can you record the real fan and just play it on repeat?
